Bought it because it was on clearance and dirt cheap. That means I should buy !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Right? It’s a sign. And it’s got a Sprint engine :)

If no-one else bids I can afford it.

Then I need to hide it somewhere so my parents don’t find out that I’ve bought another car before I’ve built the parts shed to store some of the others...

Just tell them that it is the parts shed and then stuff some parts in it.

I would say you have a problem, but I have a Lancia steering wheel and service manuals under my bed.

Are there places you aren’t storing car parts? Haha

Just curious, is it a FWD or RWD one?

Not many cars made the journey from fwd to rwd and the Toledo is one. Or it, perhaps.

Much to my girlfriend’s consternation, not really! The loft is currently free of car bits, but that’s mainly due to the faff of getting bits up there through the hatch...

It’s RWD live axle, but I’ve got a plan of swapping in the semi-trailing arm IRS from a Mk1 2000 saloon as it’s got the same track. That way I could have a proper 2002Tii competitor, snap-oversteer and everything!

And it was just a leap of imagination from AWD as well.

They made a 1300 FWD-derived 4WD vehicle for military use called the Pony. Combine that with a 1500 FWD (used the stock RWD Dolly shell) and the rear axle from a Dolly 1850 and you’ve got a 4WD variant!
